The Meisha International Block extends from the Tianqin Bay villa area in the east to the junction of Yanmei Road and Huanmei Road in the west, and from the sea in the south to the OCT East area in the north, covering Dameisha, Binhai and East Coast communities, with a total area of 21.83 square kilometers and a resident population of 23,000 (including 129 expats).
This international block features residential, commercial and tourist areas, including OCT East, Dameisha Outlets, Vanke Center, Dameisha International Water Sports Center and Shenzhen Jingji Dameisha Sheraton Hotel, as well as Seaside Walkway and Dameisha Coastal Park, forming a distinctive and reputable coastal tourism industry. In recent years, Meisha Subdistrict has been implementing the “International Meisha” campaign, promoting the high-quality development of the subdistrict with the establishment of the Meisha International Block and Meisha International Talent Block, and has made significant progress.
Meisha Subdistrict acted early in the construction of an international block, and East Coast Community is one of the first batch of eight pilot communities included in Shenzhen’s international block construction drive. It was listed among the first batch of international blocks in Shenzhen in December 2019. In November 2020, Meisha Subdistrict was listed as one of Shenzhen’s first batch of international talent blocks, and in April 2021, it achieved notable success in its presentations at the 19th Conference on International Exchange of Professionals.
